London – Chef Arnaud Bignon of London’s Two-Michelin-Starred restaurant, The Greenhouse, and guest chef Jean-Luc Rocha of Bordeaux’s Two-Michelin-Starred Château Cordeillan-Bages (Pauillac, France) will partner for one day, on Tuesday 26 January 2016, to host an exclusive lunch plus dinner paired with Château Lynch-Bages 2004 and other fine wines.

Tucked away in a green-leafed Mayfair mews, The Greenhouse is one of London’s most highly acclaimed two-Michelin-starred restaurants. At the helm is Arnaud Bignon whose classic-meets avant- garde food philosophy brings a new dimension to French cuisine and earned him a second Michelin star in 2013.

Visiting from the Medoc wine country is perhaps Bordeaux’s most exciting chef, Jean-Luc Rocha, Meilleur Ouvrier de France 2007. Contemporary and well balanced, his cuisine enhances the regional produce from the land and sea, and adds a splash of fantasy to enlighten the senses. Château Cordeillan-Bages, a 28-room boutique hotel, is situated in the heart of the vineyard of Château Lynch-Bages, owned by the Cazes family.

Both The Greenhouse and Château Cordeillan-Bages are members of Relais & Châteaux and through this gourmet association and their passion for French cuisine and wine, a ‘four-hands’, four-star dining experience awaits.

Château Lynch-Bages – A stone’s throw from Pauillac and overlooking the Gironde estuary, the Lynch-Bages winery (1855 Grand Cru Classé) lies on the Bages plateau – one of the commune’s finest gravel croupes. Formerly the property of the illustrious Lynch family from Ireland, the estate was repurchased in 1934 by Jean-Charles Cazes. Housed in a building that dates back to the late 16th century, the old Lynch-Bages vat room that was installed in the 1850s is one of the few old wine-making facilities that has remained intact. A visit here is a veritable voyage in time. Jean-Michel Cazes handed over to his son Jean-Charles back in 2006, and the Lynch-Bages wines continue to bear witness to the same generosity and excellence, benefitting as they do from the same high standards. www.jmcazes.com

It also offers bespoke visits of Lynch-Bages and its historic vat-room and art exhibits, and organises personal encounters with the artisans on the estate during tasting courses or cookery demonstrations. And VINIV which offers wine lovers the opportunity to live a complete Bordeaux winemaking experience under the guidance of awarded oenologists by blending their own Bordeaux wine from grapes picked among the best appellations of the region. Helicopter landing, hors & carriage rides, classic car tours, picnics in the vineyard, bike rentals, private hiring for events complete a unique experience in the Bordeaux region.
